On March 30, top Chinese lawmakers unanimously approved the draft of the Hong Kong electoral reform plan, with revised measures for electing the chief executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Legislative Council's formation. This came after the country's top legislature decided to improve HKSAR's electoral system on March 11, a major step in tackling the loopholes in the region's governance structure and meets the fundamental requirements of "patriots administering Hong Kong".

In this video, some Hong Kong residents warmly expressed their support for this move, saying such reform is justified and progressive and will promote the region's long-term stability and prosperity.
