The Chinese wisteria, native to China, is a flowering plant species in the pea family. The plant is known for its long, hanging, fragrant flowers. The stunning bloomer looks best from May to June when flowers which are usually bluish-purple, droop from the vines. It's also a popular ornamental plant cultivated in many places of China.
