Erendira Guerrero Quinones, a tailor from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, collected clothes of people who died of COVID-19 to make teddy bears, which are used to comfort families who lost their loved ones in the pandemic. Each teddy bear is unique and carries the memories of the families and the lost ones. "In Mexico, remembering your loved ones is part of our culture. We believe that our relatives are not gone but transcended to another place. We use this teddy bear to represent the lost ones to perceive them as if they are still with us," said Guerrero.
