China urges Britain not to meddle in Chinese internal affairs
01:23

China is firmly opposed to any country, organization or individual shielding criminals in any form, and urges them to stop interfering in China's internal affairs, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Thursday. Zhao made the remarks in response to a question about Nathan Law Kwun-chung, the criminal suspect wanted by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) police, who claimed that he has been granted so-called political asylum in Britain.
