Some countries around the world are adjusting their vaccine rollout after the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed a causal link between AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine and blood clotting.

The UK government has advised people under 30 to go for an alternative.

Australia recommended people under 50 to get Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine but said they could still choose AstraZeneca shot if they want.

Countries including Spain, the Philippines, Germany, South Korea will only give AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine to people aged over 60.

Italy recommended that AstraZeneca's COVID-19 shot only be used on above-60 groups.

Swedish health agency said it's temporarily pausing the vaccine for people under 65.

Some countries are not imposing any restrictions despite warnings of increased risks of blood clots.

Mexico's drug regulator Cofepris said it "does not plan to limit the use of AstraZeneca vaccines to any age or group."

Brazil's health regulator Anvisa also recommended continued use of the vaccine, saying that the benefits outweigh the risks.
