The screen manufacturing industry saw a boom in 2020 amid stay-home orders and social distancing measures due to COVID-19. With millions of people turning to online entertainment, e-learning and remote working globally, Chinese panel manufacturer TCL reported a 33 percent jump in profits last year. The company's 55-inch TV sets remained the best-selling products in the world, while its curved gaming monitors climbed to fourth place in global market share.
