00:50

The China Society for Human Rights Studies has condemned the United States for initiating wars abroad and causing humanitarian calamities. In an article released on Friday, it said over 80 percent of the armed conflicts between 1945 and 2001 were initiated by America. It said at least 350,000 active bombs and landmines dropped by Washington during the Vietnam War are still in Vietnam, and they will take at least 300 years to clear. The article said only by abandoning the mindset of wars and hegemony can people really enjoy basic human rights across the world. The China Society for Human Rights Studies is a large national non-governmental organization in the field of human rights and a member of the United Nations Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations.
