Mexican and Brazilian health regulators said on Wednesday that they will not limit the use of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine. The announcement comes after Britain's vaccine advisory committee recommended not using it for people under 30, citing rare blood clot risks. European officials confirmed Wednesday that the occurrence of blood clots is strongly associated with the vaccine, but said it should be still listed as a very rare side effect.
