Yue Zhongyi arrived in Xinjiang's Bax Kaqun Village as the first secretary in 2019. After two years of efforts, Bax Kaqun Village has shaken off poverty. As Yue's original term of working in the village came to an end, he chose to extend his stay. "What made me the happiest is to see the villagers are living a better life and earning money," he said.
