Two people were killed and six others remained trapped underground as of around 1 p.m. on April 10, following a coal and gas outburst at a coal mine in southwest China's Guizhou Province on April 9.
The accident happened at around 8:50 a.m. at Dongfeng Coal Mine in Bijie City's Jinsha County. Rescue work is underway.
