Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan on Saturday sent a message of condolence to Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family over the passing of Prince Philip.

Britain's Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II's husband, died at the age of 99, Buckingham Palace announced Friday.
