Health authorities in Qingdao City, east China's Shandong Province, are searching for close contacts on the train G282 after one passenger tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, said the local health commission in a statement.

The passenger, who boarded the train from Nanjing City, east China's Jiangsu Province on March 26, tested positive two days after ending centralized quarantine in Qingdao on Friday, the statement added.

The commission said it was looking for passengers and close contacts aboard the same train and urged them to report to local epidemic prevention and control center.
