A batch of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Cameroon's capital Yaounde on Sunday.
Cameroonian Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute and representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international organizations were among the officials who were at the airport to welcome the shipment.
This is the first shipment of any COVID-19 vaccine that Cameroon has brought in since the onset of the pandemic.
