World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanonom Ghebreyesus said "there remains a shocking imbalance in the global distribution of vaccines" at a regular briefing conference on Saturday. China continues to be an advocate for global vaccination equality, with the country currently providing vaccine assistance to 80 countries and three international organizations, exporting to 40-plus countries, and working with more than 10 countries on vaccine R&D and production cooperation, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
