8 dead, 1 injured in coal mine gas outburst in SW China

Eight people were killed and one injured in a coal mine gas outburst in southwest China's Guizhou Province, local government said in a statement on Tuesday, as the rescue operations concluded after four days of the incident.

The incident took place on April 9 at Dongfeng Coal Mine in Bijie City's Jinsha County.
