Bird watchers in east China's Fujian Province recently spotted a pair of Chinese crested terns, a critically endangered bird species. The rare seabirds were discovered among a group of black-headed gulls and great crested terns in Weitouwan Bay, Jinjiang City.
This rare bird is under first-class state protection in China and has a wild population of less than 100.
