Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said Tuesday that about 215,000 doses of China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine passed a review by the health authorities and Sinovac vaccinations will be available immediately.

This batch of vaccines will be prioritized for members of the police, as well as those unable to move freely. 

1.7 million additional doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine will be delivered soon according to the purchasing agreement, Stepanov said. 

The first shipment of 200,000 doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Kiev on March 25.
