Eleven athletes have carried the flag for the People's Republic of China at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games since the country sent teams to the top winter sporting event for the first time in 1980.

The flag bearers have different backgrounds, out of different sports but all known for their achievements in their specific fields.

They have one thing in common - representing China in the Winter Olympics, which each of them considers one of the greatest honors in the career.
