U.S., Japanese leaders hold first White House meeting to counter China's influence

U.S. President Joe Biden sought to present a united front with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga in countering China's growing influence. Biden's meeting with Suga on Friday was his first face-to-face White House summit since taking office. Suga said the U.S. and Japan agreed on the need for each of them to engage in frank dialogue with China.
