Poon-Hunfai graduated from the University of Kentucky (U.S.) with a PhD in biochemistry, and has lived and worked in different countries. Though he is from Hong Kong, he decided to start a business in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. He said many young people in Hong Kong are biased against the Chinese mainland because of the unknown, but they need to experience it for themselves to find out the truth.
