Japan is facing international criticism over its plans to release more than a million tonnes of nuclear polluted water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the sea. The plant was crippled during the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, and it's being decommissioned. Japan's prime minister says the release of the wastewater is the only way to help Fukushima area recover. But environmental groups and Japan's international neighbors say it's an irresponsible and unjustified decision.
