The Israeli parliament is set to review a bill that would allow voters to directly choose a prime minister. Israel typically votes for a party, not a specific candidate. The country has held four elections since April 2019. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‏ has emerged ahead in each vote, but he's failed to form a stable coalition. This comes as the long-serving leader faces a trial on corruption charges.
