NASA has successfully test flown a helicopter on Mars. It's the first time in history that a powered, controlled aircraft has flown on another planet. The Ingenuity Mars Helicopter lifted off on Monday. The helicopter traveled to Mars attached to the underside of the rover Perseverance. The Perseverance touched down on the red planet in February on a mission to search for signs of extraterrestrial life.
