Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said the government will consider virus emergency for Tokyo, Osaka and Hyogo. He promised it won't impact the opening of the delayed Olympics, Kyodo news reported on Tuesday. 

The Osaka Prefecture has previously requested the central government to declare a fresh state of emergency. Tokyo metro government is planning to make the same request, according to Japanese media.
