A commemorative event marking the 50th anniversary of the Ping-Pong Diplomacy is jointly hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, General Administration of Sport of China, and China-U.S. People's Friendship Association. With the theme of "Friendship First, Competition Second," it aims to demonstrate the common aspiration for a better world and a better life for the people of China and America by reviewing the history of the Ping-Pong Diplomacy and narrating the stories of China-U.S. people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in sports and other fields.
