President Xi Jinping visited the campus of Tsinghua University on Monday ahead of its 110th anniversary. He stressed the goal of building world-class universities with Chinese characteristics, and called for efforts to apply more artistic elements to urban and rural planning and building and make achievements in art to better serve people's need for a high-quality life.
