Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech said on Tuesday that it has supplied 260 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine globally, with 60 percent of them to countries outside China, Beijing Daily reported, citing the company's chief executive Yin Weidong.

At the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia in south China's Hainan Province, Yin said 160 million doses of the vaccine have been administered worldwide. 

According to Yin, the company is capable of producing 2 billion doses of the vaccine in 2021.
