Higher demand for online medical cares will be seen in the post-pandemic era, said Wang Hang, the founder and CEO of Chinese online healthcare giant Haodf.com.

Many people have started to use online medical platforms to contact doctors for help since the pandemic, Wang told CGTN on the sidelines of Boao Forum for Asia 2021. He noticed that the widespread use driven by the pandemic has actually popularized the online medical care very quickly.

"If we can keep in touch with the doctor from home, why bother going to the hospital?" said Wang.
