President Biden announced Wednesday that Americans have received 200 million COVID-19 vaccinations since he took office.

More than half of adult Americans have had at least one shot, and by Thursday, 80 percent of those over 65 will have had one, said the president. 

"We still have some work to do" in the country's inoculation drive, Biden said, adding that "the broad swath of Americans hasn't received a shot."
