Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne announced on Wednesday night that the BRI deal that Victoria state signed with China has been canceled under the Commonwealth's new foreign veto laws. Beijing has expressed strong displeasure and resolute opposition to the decision and urged Australia to view bilateral relations objectively.
