Russia has announced the expulsion of 10 U.S. diplomats in response to fresh American sanctions. The foreign ministry has given the envoys until May 21 to leave the country. The move comes after U.S. President Joe Biden last week imposed new measures against 30 Russian individuals and organizations over alleged interference in last year's U.S. presidential election. The administration also placed restrictions on American companies' ability to deal in Russian government debt. The U.S. embassy officials in Moscow met with Russian officials on Wednesday to try to address the growing tensions.
