Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will expel Russian diplomats in solidarity with the Czech Republic, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis announced on Friday.

Lithuania will expel two employees of the Russian embassy, said Landsbergis.

Latvia's Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs announced the expulsion of one Russian diplomat on Twitter.

The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday demanded that the Czech embassy in Moscow reduce its number of employees, shortly after Prague made a similar move.

The Czech government recently expelled 18 Russian embassy staffers over the alleged involvement of Russian special services in two ammunition depot explosions in 2014.
