Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa received his second and final dose of the Chinese Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday at Kwekwe General Hospital in the Midlands Province.
Mnangagwa had received his first jab last month in Victoria Falls.
Zimbabwe began its COVID-19 vaccination campaign on February 18 and has said it needs to inoculate 60 percent of its population to achieve herd immunity.
To date, 295,631 have received a first dose of vaccine in the country, and 37,365 have received their second dose.
