The Chinese mainland recorded 13 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Sunday.

No more deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on Saturday, the NHC said.

Fourteen new asymptomatic cases were recorded the same day, while 322 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland reads 90,588, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,730 (11,340 recoveries, 209 deaths)

Macao: 49 (49 recoveries)

Taiwan: 1,097 (1045 recoveries, 11 deaths)
