The core module of the Chinese Space Station (CSS) is expected to be launched in the coming week. Xu Yansong, the director-general of the Asia Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, explains that China, which is not part of the International Space Station program, could be an important supplement and addition to the international missions through its own space station CSS.
