Russia is ready to take new retaliatory measures if Washington continues to escalate actions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on local TV channel Rossiya-1 on Sunday. 

"Everything was said in our response to the latest unfriendly U.S. steps. We announced all measures, which have been taken, and are ready to take more if this escalation continues," Lavrov said.
