Technical experts will review Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine on Friday for possible World Health Organization (WHO) emergency use listing, Reuters reported, citing WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier.
He said a decision on the U.S. drugmaker's vaccine is expected in one to four days after the meeting.
COVID-19 vaccines made by Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson have already received WHO approval, which is a signal to national regulatory authorities on a product's safety and efficacy.
