A new batch of COVID-19 vaccines donated by China landed in an airport in Vientiane on Monday, with representatives from the Laos heath ministry and the Chinese embassy receiving the shipment there.

China's government and People's Liberation Army donated two batches of COVID-19 vaccines to Laos in February and March, which were prioritized for high-risk groups such as medical workers and customs staff.
