China is open to participation by India and other South Asian countries in a virtual conference on fighting COVID-19, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Tuesday.
The foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will meet via video link on Tuesday to exchange views on fighting the pandemic, said the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
China is ready to continue anti-pandemic cooperation with India in various ways and aid its fight against the latest outbreak, Wang said.
