Two locally employed U.S. embassy staffers in India have died with COVID-19 and more than 100 have tested positive in recent weeks as the Asian nation battles another strong wave of the disease, CNN reported citing two unnamed sources.
The report said some employees were "frustrated" as they felt they had not been given clear information about when the U.S. diplomatic mission would receive vaccines.
Staff were also concerned that they were not being prioritized in vaccination which only began within the past two weeks.
