Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday and discussed the COVID-19 situation in India.

Confirming his talks with Putin through a tweet, Modi said he thanked President Putin for Russia's help and support in India's fight against the pandemic.

The two leaders also resolved to establish a 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue between the foreign and defense ministers of the two countries.
