This year's first supermoon, a full moon coinciding with perigee, the moon's closest point to the Earth in its monthly orbital journey, appeared in China on Tuesday night.
The moon appeared larger and brighter than other full moons, hence its name, supermoon. Photographers across China captured the beautiful scene with their super telephoto lenses.
