Manmi village is located on the left bank of the upstream of Jinghong Hydropower plant in Jiangtou, Jinghong City. It is a nearby resettlement village for inundation impact of the construction of Jinghong Hydropower plant. It is said that they are descendants of Khmer people in Cambodia, and their living customs are similar to those of Dai people.
