Japan should "realize its responsibility, fulfill its international obligations and revoke its wrong decision," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a regular press conference on Wednesday. The remarks came in response to the recent spat over Zhao's tweet about an adapted painting of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by a Chinese illustrator, which is considered as a way to protest against Japan's decision to release nuclear polluted water into the sea.
