China on Thursday will launch the core module of the country's space station from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in the southern province of Hainan at around 11:00 a.m. BJT.
The core module, named Tianhe, will be carried into space aboard a Long March-5B Y2 carrier rocket.
The rocket has been loaded with propellant.
