EU finishes ratification of EU-UK trade agreement

The European Council on Thursday adopted a decision on the conclusion of the agreement on trade and cooperation between the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) that had been agreed on Christmas Eve last year.

The agreement will enter into force on May 1.
