China sends vessels to assist Indonesia over sunken navy submarine

The Chinese military has sent vessels to assist Indonesia in the rescue of a wrecked submarine, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Ren Guoqiang said on Friday.

China has also expressed deep condolences and sincere sympathy to families of the victims in the Indonesian submarine crash, Ren said.
