The Chinese mainland recorded 13 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Friday.

No new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on Thursday, the NHC said.

Nineteen new asymptomatic cases were recorded, while 324 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 90,655, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,770 (11,404 recoveries, 209 deaths)

Macao: 49 (49 recoveries)

Taiwan: 1,121 (1,051 recoveries, 12 deaths)
