India is reeling under a mammoth COVID wave. The latest numbers show that India saw its highest tally to date with an increase of 360,000 cases in 24 hours and a death toll of more than 200,000. Panic, lack of healthcare infrastructure and oxygen shortages are proving fatal as it tries to maintain a soft lockdown.
