Egypt has granted emergency approval to the COVID-19 vaccine made by China's Sinovac. The country has also received shipments of China's Sinopharm vaccine and doses from AstraZeneca. Egypt is preparing to produce up to 80 million doses of Sinovac locally. Adel El Mahrouky tells us why this matters.
